Been looking at their tail blades and paddles. Anybody using these wanna comment on performance and quality?
Colours sure look neat!

I prefer them over the high priced CF paddles and tail blades. The bright colors look great in the air.

I love them, hold great for me. I also like the fact that on a botched landing or even a slight tail hit they don't explode like some carbon blades.

If you are not doing hard 3d they are ok.

They flex quit a bit.

Love them. They came out with a new Extreme edition (I think that's the name) a few months ago that are solid as CF. They are on everything that I own, pulled Radix carbons for them and they fly just as well.Nick Crego

I was having issues on my 600N with carbons and swapped over to the KBDD's and all my issues went away. Can't remember which carbons I had on at the time cause it's been a couple of years. Haven't ran carbons since I switched. I did destroy the original set just recently and got the new style and still love them. At the time I also cracked one of my paddles. I ordered and put some KBDD paddles on and noticed a faster cyclic which is what i was looking for anyway. In summary, I run and love both tail blades and the paddles. I also run them both on my 450.

Don't believe all the garbage about you can't do hard 3D with KBDD tail blades or paddles. Just watch Tony Whiteside fly its insane and never seen or heard of him crashing because of KBDD tails or paddles.450Pro~Vision50~EXI450~

I had the glow in the dark version on my night flyer and they would constantly blow the tail off. The gyro had a really hard time and you could hear the constant corrections being attempted. None of that with the carbon replacements I used.

Now, if they just recently fixed the softness of the plastic that's a different story...

The O.P. said he is not doing any 3D, so do not see him having any problems. I used them at the AMA FAI Nationals and they did not seem to hold me back too much.

I also witnessed a case were someone had a tail vibration with carbons, swiched them out for the KBDD tail blades and vibration was gone.

It would be tough to watch Tony fly his extreme edition and then try to claim they aren't good for hard 3D.

Same problem I was having. Put the KBDD's on and all was good.

Tail blades:
the tails are my first choice if i dont have CF. i LOVE them on my 50, deffinatly worth it!

Paddles:
even though they have options for faster or slower reaction times they are still a little heavy for the way i fly.

I think KBDD makes good stuff and it's so cheap, if you don't like it, take them off and it won't hurt your wallet. I personally like their tail blades and dampeners.

I really like the bright yellow tail blades. They are nice and visible and they hold my tail just fine.
