Need some quick help Going flying tomorrow
Got a buddy with a Trex 600n with a os55 on it. The problem is we been trying to work out the kinks in the motor for the last 4 weeks. Every time we do a hard move Like HARD tic Tocs the motor wants to cut out but after you come back up to pitch the motor clears out and is back to full power Same with hard piro flips. Any Ideas? what would we need to tune to make it stop doing this we been playing with the carb to try and get it right. also put a header tank on it to see if it would help also a new clunk. Any Ideas would be great Im going out tomorrow and would like to try some new ideas

Have you replaced the fuel line? The clink line and filter? O would also remove and disassemble the card and blow it out encased there is dirt in the high needle circut.

ya everything is new on it fuel lines and all. I can check the needles but thought how good it was flying that wouldn't be the problem. Its only when your really banging the sticks. Its not like a bog like if you over pitch it. It Kinda just kills its self. If that makes any sinceTrex 450pro V-bar, 700E V-bar 550 V-bar 600N & 250

I would clean the carb. It will run fine on the mid needle. But when it is on the high it might starve for fuel. Dose it do it on full climb outs?

What fuel line? Not the line stuff that falls apart from the inside I hope.

no not on full climb outs If I start to do Side tic tocs and im taken it easy nice and slow nothing happens but as soon as I really start to hit it It dies out and if you keep doing them or even slow them back down it will stay with now power till I come up to pitch. and let its self relaxTrex 450pro V-bar, 700E V-bar 550 V-bar 600N & 250

im wondering if its the line from the muffler to the tank that is causing the problem.

are you running a gov?

also what is powering the servo side of stuff what if your browning out the system when you do hard moves and for some reason its making the throttle servo back out.
Who cares... its just money...

Its the align gov. and I don't think it would be a brown out because we would loose everything. I still have full control just lose power. It just sounds like a bad bog. But I know its not bogging down. Its really hard to explain. You can hear the motor bog but its not a 2 much pitch bog.Trex 450pro V-bar, 700E V-bar 550 V-bar 600N & 250

2 possible causes.
low throttle too low on governor setup.
Midrange tuning too rich or lean. When governor shuts throttle when you unload the head it gets way into the low and mid needles
