Mini Titan or Trex 450?
Hi guys,

I fly an Align 500 and Raptor 50 nitro. I was looking into getting into smaller helis and want to know what you all think...

Mini titan or Trex 450? What would you all get? Pros & cons?

I have the Trex Pro and it flies incredibly well. I recently converted to fbl and that takes it to the next level. Parts are readily available and the machine really needs only one mod out of the box. I also have a T500, and prefer the head design, and response much more on the 450 Pro.

The Mini Titan is well regarded by its owners and the only complaint I've seen is in regards the need to upgrade some of the head parts to metal. They have a new model out which seems to have improved on an already good design.

T450 Pro hands down..
had both not even a fair comparison..

the Pro flies circles around the TT.
and parts availability with Align is way way better.

Out of those 2 I'd pick up a 450pro. I've had both and the Pro flew better and out of the box was better quality than the TT. now I fly a Rave, which I like even better, but that wasn't the question.

If I weren't flying the Rave it would be a 450 Pro, probably stretched to run 350mm blades on 4s.

I would go with the 450 Pro. It's a great heli in stock form. I no longer have one, but I really liked the TT set up and it was VERY easy to assemble with no surprises on the maiden voyage.

It's a tough call. Either way, I don't think you will be disappointed. Both the Trex 450 Pro and Mini-Titan V2 (and the original) are great helis.

Its a no brainer, Mini Titan, I had both, got rid of the 450 Pro. Better durability on the Titan, better performance by way far. Will out LAST the Pro any day!! Align just doesn`t have the duability!!

I have the pro and it flies great, but that mini Titan v2 lOoks sweet. I've wanted to try the mini Titan for the cg looking a bit higher than the pros and the bearing block below the main gear too. Dunno the v2 looks darn tempting

Out of the 2 OP is asking for, I would say the Pro

Now if you threw a 3rd choice...RAVE 450
That sucker is unbelievable stable with 350mm blades
Best I've ever flow

Good luck man I don't think you will go wrong with any of them.

No matter what other helis I have, I always have a Mini Titan ready to fly.I have a MT original version and an SE.I would love to fly the new V2,and actually thinking about selling one of mine to get a v2.

They fly great, are REALLY durable, and maintanence is very easy, getting to servos and such is a breeze, much more so than the rex(as far as getting to servos)and the tail set up is designed well too as you can remove the entire boom without affecting belt tension. Both fly great but its also nice to be a little different

The MT is a BIT heavier but also has a bigger disc area(main grips are longer) so to me anyway it feels a little more stable, but can still move when you need it to.Both helis, the rex or mt can 3D with the best of them.

the original MT/MTSE design has basically remained unchanged since they came out in 06,which lets you know how much upgrading or improvement it needed
