Vibe
Vibe NEX wins hands down. No competition. Especially with a Hyper 55 or YS56.

Im with this guy, having owned so many brands of helis the JRs standout from the rest. Quality, fit & finish, smoothness etc. JR is in different class than a Raptor.

jr vs x-50
but it still look heavy as was the vibe 50 3d! I have a vibe 50 and consider the vibe nex... or the titan x-50.

The nex is lighter than the Vibe 50,it has carbon frames and fins and lower plate. I have both and they both fly very light.....YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE..IF YOU LIVE IT RIGHT THATS ALL YOU NEED

I was curious about the two heli's as well but you will not get a honest opinion in the JR forum. Just like you prob should not ask in the thunder tiger forum. I have a vibe 50 and it is pretty nice. I have heard very good things about the X50 but I have never flown one.

Good luck

Solid
Tail pitch slider and placement of the the Gov Sensor magnet on the Clutch Bell of the NEX is MUCH higher quality/robust. Along with all the Japanese machined parts. No camparison between JR and Thunder Tiger. Regardless of the forum. Only reason Thunder Tiger fliers don't fly JR exclusively is because parts and kits are pricey. Seriously.. Is the Raptor 90 3d/SE nicer than the 90SG? Lol. Thing that annoys me about JR is they don't offer a NEX/90SG flybarless kit and their 90 kit is rediculously over priced. I'll take a Rave ENV flybarless kit for $799 before I'll buy an $1399 kit that still needs a $100 upgrade to make it flybarless. Get on board JR!

the NEX is not priced that high, the kit can be had for 525. Most of the parts are very inexpensive, boom $4.50,mainshaft $4.50,most of the crash parts are not bad.Yes the frames are expensive but should survive most crashes. I set mine up with Edge 623 blades and it is pretty quick on cyclic and collective,it could be faster with lighter paddles (using Edge paddles). It autos like a 90 and floats forever,it flys light and is smoother than the old vibe,it also has all the little issues fixed the old vibe had.....YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE..IF YOU LIVE IT RIGHT THATS ALL YOU NEED

The NEX replacement parts are cheap right now. However, JR will screw their customers and jack up the prices after they have flooded the market just like they did with the Vibe50. Raptor part prices seem to remain consistent.
