Can I fly with white covering removed from blades?
Just slightly nicked the end of the blades on the curb and the white
covering split and started to peel when I spooled it up again. Removed the blades and black plastic blade ends and removed all of the white covering from the blades. The wood blades underneath look like they have a pocket milled in them with a weight inside and then covered by a wood insert that makes it where you can't actually see the weight. Is there a chance the weight may fly out and cause a crash?

Thanks for any info...

I would not use those blades. Why take any chance . It's just good practice not to use damaged parts that spin very fast. Would you stick your hand in a hole that you think has a poisonous snake in it ? Not me.

True the woodies are cheap enough I'd change them. I've got a set that I stripped and have been thinking about recovering I've got plenty of ultracote to try out and there's no damage to the wood itself. I tipped over in the back yard and the bush got my covering.mSR,120SR,mCPx SR(DDVP),TTe325 Spektrum

I flew many Blade CP wood blades with the covering torn or missing. Wrap the tip with some clear shipping tape after dropping a few drops of thin CA on the tips. It'll be MUCH stronger than they are stock. Balance them when you are done via bolting them together then add tape to the ligher side until they are balanced.
