one milion dollar photo
Ok,
here is the story.
We are shooting today for a Environmental Agency and when we drop down the camera to take some vertical pics i see something come out from the camera and falling down.. I lost the signal! my camera operator says..
finally i found the falling part, and the biggest surprise is when we download the pictures from the device..
Keep in mind the time between shooting via remote trigger to shoot up there is less than 1 sec (IR control) the only delay is the focus if it is enable..

enjoy,

Vasilis

Hope no-one was standing under it when that happened! Just as well it wasn't the helicopter's receiver battery

I'm the pilot, my wife is the camera operator. She has just said to me "frame it - it's art"

We love it. Thanks for sharing

I remember 5 years ago just after I got my 1st Trex-600 and I was doing a quick test hover on the park after some radio reconfig work.

It hovered well so I gently climbed straight up and then I saw it.. my rx battery hanging by the lead under the heli. A very gentle decent was in order... all because of a lazy preflight.

Not calling yours a lazy preflight - Just I think I know how you feel when you see that battery hanging / dropping
