If I was going, if I cared, I'd be rooting for Bobby and Bert. Not only do they fly well but they do a lot to help us meer mortals with videos, handy tools and advice.

I know where Matt is . . .
Where is Matt Botos, Alan Szabo and Bert K.?
Matt is here in Detroit for the Mid America Fun Fly this weekend. I just finished 3D school with he and Tim Jones today.

The event is going to be a blast. Perfect weather and a real airport runway. 9000' flight line

Alan Jr showed up here in Muncie today (thurs) but is not flying. I spent the day watching big airplanes as I rarely get to see them and since I am judging, didn't want to appear to be "buddies" with any of the competitors. The fun starts tomorrow.

All of the contestants are top notch pilots but I have to agree that Nick and Kyle are in a class of their own skill wise. Kyle's flying is super clean and Nick's got Picasso style tricks that always blow your mind with how creative they are.

Kyle is there with the Exxtreme, right? He's been flying the thing so much that if he got connected to the heli he has an advantage to his already amazing skills. That heli is a monster of precision and this cometition is all about precision. My bet is on him or Nick.

The best part to me beside seeing great flying from all pilots is we'll have "many" videos of the Exxtreme!!!
