Futaba PCM rx HOT!
I have been using a futaba PCM receiver on my 700 AP ship, FBL with the helicommand. Lately I've noticed that the receiver gets quite warm.
Is this normal? Maybe it was that way before and i didn't notice it.

Running of standard bec power from the jive, plus buffer nimh pack, with Ds610 servos and 520 gyro.

I've also noticed my elevator servo will twitch a few millimeters all the time.

The servos and rx were in a crash but seemed to check out when putting them through testing.

Getting hot is not normal for PCM receivers. I strongly advise anyone who crashes a RX, especially a crystal based 72MHz type RX, to send it in before flying it again. It may "seem" fine, but that means nothing.AMA Leader Member

Good advice. Not worth the risk for such an inexpensive item. I'll switch it out with another.-Tim
