HK 450 Pro
I am going to buy an HK 450 Pro TT from HobbyKing and am quite new to electrics. Was just wondering if the list of electronics is good or if i could get better for the buck. I hope to get everything from them one-hit...

-Turnigy 2838 motor
-either Turnigy K-Force/ Plush esc??
-3x HS-65HB servos
-HK 401B gyro, (undecided which tail servo?)

They dont seem to have the AR7000 in stock but saw the Orange Rx 6-channel reciever, are they any good? Have a DX7.

Any feed-back would be greatly appreciated

fwiw..

I've had good luck with HK....
65 HB are fine, but MG's will hold up better in crashes....Turnigy esc/motor most likely ok, I've no Idea about the 401 clone, but a 9257 servo is ideal for the 450 size helis...I imagine HK has a clone of that as well.....If you are beginning, the t/r servo is not as big a deal, but getting a decent servo will pay dividends down the road...

Good Luck!

John.

main shaft, tail shaft, feathering shaft and dont forget a few sets of umbrella gears if you buy the TT version.
when you get the kit, make sure you size all the ball links and check if loctite was used in the right places. some things are not loctite at all.
