HK 450 pro help!!!
The belt is tight,my son helped me to hold it and also I used an screw on the tail boom to hold it on place.
I reversed the gyro, the servo, moved to the opposite side the servo holder.......
I took the tail apart and everything seems to be ok, loctite/greased and back together.
I'm getting to the point where the situation is getting the fun out of the hobby.
Also the flying time of the other heli.
I guess I going to take it to the heli club, that I don't have a membership, but hopefully they will take a closer look.
I don't know what else to do, really.
Thank y'all.
Any more suggestions??

BigBadBaker,I already did that, twice, but I didn't replace the gears. Will do that tomorrow.

The belt seems to be TIGHT!!
Also, I have a new copterx tail holder assembly that I going to switch for the one that is on the heli and post the results tomorrow

I tried to move the main belt holding the tail blades and I couldn't move either one.

I could be wrong, but I don't think you want the belt super tight. I forget the "rule" of how tight it needs to be, but it's something like if you press on it a bit, it should move about 1/4 to 1/2 way to touching the other side. Or something like that. I know someone else here knows what I'm trying to say.

EDIT: Nevermind, I was backwards in my head.
I love my flying lawn mowers!

everyone has tried every thing we know

only thing left is to wait on his new front tail drive gear.

the problem has to be i his hobby king belt drive system.

he has replaced the tail gear the front gear is all thats left.

i think hobby kings tt units for the trex has been pretty horrible for some folks looks like there belt drive system
aint worth a box of rocks either.

This is a wierd one. The video looks good.
Tail blades are in the right direction.
It looks like you are passing the pinch test:
http://www.mycoolheli.com/gyrobenchtest.html

It does not look like you did the finless bob flip of the tail linkages. Slider left = nose right which is correct.

It's as if the tail RPM is not good enough.

BTW, I put my 450 ball on the servo arm at 7-8mm but if you can get full movement with the servo and the quark setup, that's fine, your just loosing servo speed at 4mm distance.

I set up my helis NOT as zero tail pitch/90 degrees/center in rate mode, but I give some nose right (slider left of center) so I can hover in rate mode with very little drift. Then fly in HH.

But if your giving full right rudder in that vid then somethine is up.

I recommend you move the servo forward which will give you some offset of nose right.
(look at photos in middle of this page)
http://www.mycoolheli.com/reviews/ReviewGY48v.html
Set ball on tail servo 7mm from center.
Adjust the quark endpoints again for no binding.
SEt to Rate mode, then before spool up set to HH mode.
Fly in HH mode.

I"m very curious to know how this goes.

Ok guys, still the same, I replaced the tail holder assembly.
I set my end points on the gyro and the tail servo has more travel, the assembly that came with the kit is bigger than the sev2.
I see now a 5mm of difference on the tail shaft.
I not sure if is for good or bad but I think I going to leave it like that until I hear your opinions.

MELNIC: I also did the pinch test and I have to move my finger because of the force coming out of the servo.
I add more pitch to the blades on both sides (left & right) and no difference.

your looking in the wrong spots its not in the gyro or servos it in the speed of the tail rotor so it has to be in the belt or gears!!!

could be Motor or gears!!!!

or in your radio do you have a buddies radio you can bind to your computer irf it flies ok its in your settings somewhere???

have you tried just doing reset and a very basic setup in you radio??

Is it just me or is that thing looking too tight? I notice that as soon as he lets off the throttle it comes to a dead stop. My belt 450 is nice and loose and takes some time to stop. Could that be part of the problem? My heli's a submarine hybred. (I live in Washington)

How about this, did you try holding your tail blades and spin the main gear to see if there's any slippage. The gear that connects to the auto rotation gear sometimes spins, not giving your tail the rpms it needs. I can't remember if it was mentioned.Bald Pilots usually wear hats!

From what tiny bit I know, I had a similar prob once and was told to manually slide the rudder servo back and/or forth on the boom and check after each adjustment, it did work, finally. (just tryin' to help)
as a matter of fact, I am trying it right this very minute, I have a similar problem, my heli does respond the the stick movements, but much, much faster going right than left, the tail really swings right like crazy but goes left kinda slow then bang it goes left, lol,.. but to the right, it just takes a tiny bit of pressure on the stick, I am going to try moving the servo manually on the boom and hope. Made a vid of it but youtube takes like 30 min to UL a 2 minute vid...but will do it anyway.
Edit: 30 minutes later...I know you have but...have you gone into the Rate mode? I have and it kinda helped solve my prob here, need to go outside and try it to make sure. The rudder is acting better than it did already, I lowered mine alot, dunno how it is gonna act yet but the slider moves much better now! Just an idea...

Sonnyhad, I already did that and the blades don't move a bit, tight!.
Friedbattery, I tried that, giving more pitch to the left or right and didn't help.

Thank you all

i going to see somebody tonight that is going to help me figure it out.
He has 3 Hk 450 pro and has some ideas about the situation.
Already tried Finless mod and didn't help.
Will keep you'll posted.
