HK 450 pro help!!!
I bought an Hobby King 450 pro, BELT DRIVE.
The problem that I have is that I have tried different Gyros and some how I can not get it to stop from spinning on the ground.
I did reverse the gyro, tried with different gains.
I tried the gp750, Gy401 and now the quark, and still the same
I have the quark gyro with the ds520 servo, servo at 90', gyro gain at 65 on a futaba T7c.
If I move the heli nose to the left the tail servo moves to the opposite side.
The more throttle I give the more that spins.
I have no clue what else to do to make it stop.

H E L P ! ! !

Thank you all in advance!

Sounds to me like your linkage is messed up. Did you set up your tail rotor linkage properly?Bald Pilots usually wear hats!

HK 450 pro help!!!
Yes, Funknrock.
They are spinning on the right direction.
This is my second heli, I have the 450 sev2 set up correctly.
And I thought that with the 450 pro will be easy with my little experience on the first one.
But, I was wrong...

you could also try swapping the gyro from your other 450 and see if that works.

a video of everything moving then a spool up would help.

Did you adjust the tail linkage with the gyro in Rate mode? You don't want HH mode when adjusting it.
See if that helps. I saw the video and that's the first thing I'd check after seeing that.

well, it's looks like everything is moving correctly. i would have to agree with wc_wickedclown that something must be lose/slipping somewhere. hold the tail blades to keep them form moving and try turning the main blades by hand. once in a while the gears that drive the belt/TT come lose form the shaft. the tail blades will turn but not enough for counter the head torque. i had that happen with a TT on a 450 Pro while flying. made for an interesting landing! My crashes are cooler than your flying! ;^)

sonnyhad,
I did set up the linkage in rate mode.
To make the servo at 90 and the tail blades to meet at the center.

Funknrock,
I tried to move the main blades by hand and holding the tail blades at the same time, I couldn't move either one, until I hear something like a crack.
I removed the drive gear and tried to move them with pliers and I didn't feel something to move or loose.

Funknrock says the samething

good video
i remember when some clones had issues with the belt pulley on the front and the tail slipping.

i dunno anyone that has a belt on a 450 pro if the pulleys are ok you might want to try a torqtube tail unit if all else fails.

your gyro is setup properly you should have been able to use left rudder stick to go in the other direction but it will not because your tail is not getting up to speed to hold the Helli from turning

HK 450 pro belt drive
I will take apart the tail and loctite/grease everything again.
Also to play with the tail pulley.
I don't want to spend more money on the heli (I should go for the original Trex, really); but maybe the align tail belt unit will help.

If I make my number$ I think I spend more on the clone than on the original or on an used airframe.
If I knew; learn from your mistakes!.

I will post the results of my findings tomorrow.

Thanks y'all
