●X and Y axis Operating Angle Range:-300~+300 degree
●Z axis Operating Angle Range:-600~+600 degree
whats that mean ? degrees per sec ?
●Maximum working voltage:8.5V
not very high ?
●Field setup without the use of a PC
i wonder how thats done without the Bluetooth connectivity ? with a little screwdriver ?

all in all it looks nice......

300 degrees of pitch or roll per second is a bunch. 600 degrees of rudder.
8.5 is 2S lipo.
Field setup means you can do all of the end points and such with no programmer, just like the 3G or GP750 gyro

They are promising a boat load of stuff...I hope they can deliver all that they are advertising. Would be interesting if that thing can reliably do accurate position and altitude hold!Xera Motors

I've been waiting to see this unit on the website...Looks good, but I wonder what the mounting options will be...Can it be mounted on edge like the BeastX....?

Pretty much chalk and cheese?

List against list, this one is half the price of VBar.
On the used market I see this one well under $200.

I have a 450 Pro airframe waiting for Grand to get one in so I can test.

I put my order in about 3 weeks ago at our Align supplier for the LHS where I work. Planning on putting on my recently finished Trex 550. I can't wait to get it. My Trex 500 3G flies great. Chuck.

Had secured one back 2 days ago (not out of combo kit) and shall be flying it mid next week. Boss! Not coming to work next week!

This is my first FBL unit and am mounting it up on my 500E as a test bed to get familiar with this technology. Since 3GX Systems are not available yet (shall be next week) I will have to mod my flybarred head. Heard that will have less pitch and cyclic throw but I think it will be just sweet for a FBL novice like me.

Very excited! Like back then when I got my 600NSP

PS: Also heard that 3G firmware upgrade will be released real soon, probably by next FRI, will have piro compensation and most of the 3GX features as long as hardware allows.

RLHeli make sure you let us know how it works out. Are you going to run satellite receivers or a regular receiver? I am planning on using 2 satellites with my 9303. Chuck

Vbar is only an extra $100 then the pro if you want it (i guess same as buying the 3G link.

When the 700E new combo comes out with locking batt tray i'll probably get one to give it a go, hope my castle does not burn. I want something to practice inverted autos with!

They didn't fit the accelerometer in the unit, they're promising it in a (probably yet to be even proto'd) accessory. The trouble is, unless the alignment of the accel with the gyro is known very exactly, that just won't work. Self-level also requires much better temperature compensation than normal flybarless, which I doubt they do, and processing power this unit doesn't have.

Just ordered one.
Decided to try it in a Pepsi challenge style test with my two T700N. One has Total G. Other is sitting with no FBL unit as I sent my last Total G off for DSMX upgrade. Will install the 3GX and test back to back.
