Looking for a new 90 700LE?
I am thinking of getting a new 90 and I think it should be a 700LE.
I had a T-rex 600 and had problems with little things like bearings. Are the newer kits better? I will go nitro and have a OS-HZ so I am set with a engine. I have been flying EVO-90s (have three) and want something new. Any help will be well received.
Thanks 870Heli

Far as I can see they have fixed almost everything. The new links are awesome (very tight and need air time to break them in) All the bearings in my new kit seem good. The main gear is very tight also tell you get a few flights on it.

The frame screws seem better also but I changed them anyway. To me the 700 is a great heli right out of the box. it does need a little love here and there but what kit doesn't? Are you planing on going FB or FBL?

700 T-rex
Thanks Sluggo I was thinking that no one was flying a 700LE.
I am kind of old school so I will be going with a flybar set up. I will try a FBL buy on this heli I just want a good flying 90 to use. Not in the mood to tinker. Thats why I tryed this post, to get a feel on the newer 700 kits. If they had made a F3C kit in nitro I would have gotten one. I was thinking of the FAI 700 but I don't want to mess with 12 cells of batterys.
Thanks for the input.

Well I will be building a 700LE. It's on the way. Anything to look for in the build that may pop up?

Congrats! Its a nice build... Take your time and follow the manual

I would suggest you upgrade the frame bolts and spindle bolts...

Everything else should be just fine IMO. I have the G-Force 700N Clutch Block Kit, Trueblood dampers, RcBooya canopy mounts, but stock should be fine

The Lynx M.O.A.S. pick up is also a must for me.... These are just things I upgraded, no necessarily must have.
