Approach Cobra Down........but it will fly again!
Had a great time flying at the Chattanooga event this weekend, my Cobra was flying great until the 5th or 6th flight on Saturday. I took off and started to transition into forward flight and it suddenly has 3 sharp forward elevator movements and plowed nose first into the ground. I pulled back on the elevator but it didn't help.

Looks like the possible cause is the Scorpion motor bearings went bad and caused interference with the SK-360. I'm going to return the heli to pod and boom while I make repairs to make sure it's fixed by replacing the bearings. Damage to the Swift was light, couple of ball links, main shaft, main gear and I'll go ahead and replace all the bearings. The V-Blades are fine! This heli had probably more than 300 flights on it!

Sorry about the mishap. That was a great looking and flying heli.

300 flights! Obviously a favorite.

Looking forward to seeing your more detailed rebuild and then you can have 300 more flights on those Swift mechanics. I also found those mechanics to be relatively maintenance & problem free after 100's of flights.
