The Avatar copter.
I was thinking the same thing. Opens up a great setup for making a flying scale model of the Avatar VTOL gunships.

I wonder how the direction is changed (front <> back). Is there a weight inside that shifts forward or backwards?

How about yaw?

Curious!

Looks like a twin axial ( like the e-flite CX series ) with the blades separated

Finally learned to fly inverted, Helps if you stand on your head

I do not know much of this heli. Just posted the video. I wouldnt own one myself. This heli is still in limbo, manufacturers are still in design phase, AND I am probably sure they are wondering if this will be a hit. I doubt it.

It's very interesting that it works so well. Might be more interesting as a full scale - no rail rotor to mess with (safer).

The two motors are pivoting forward to go forward and backward to go backward. I seriously doubt it has a 3-axis gyro. That design is similar to a co-axial in its stability so no gyro is really needed. Kinda cool, it just needs ccpm so we can take it inverted now!
