hawk pro flame out !!
one thing i have learned from saturday when the os hyper 50 shut off 50 feet up ..didnt panick thought i had complete control..even applied full negative to try to gain more head speed ..flared b4 it hit the ground but at that time i can see the blades slowing down ..hit a little hard enough to pop off shortest linkage and broken tail vertical ..thats it and oh a little chip on the blade boom strike ..well i took it apart today and found out i been setting my shaft collar a little too tight on against the top bearing ..i was spinning the shaft w/ out the heard and i can feel big difference on load play when i go all the way againts the bearing or if i let it down some for loosed spin out ..now ..i'm thinking that could be the reason why i did not have enough head speed comming down for auto ..does that make sense ..btw i only sport fly ..what do you guys think ?

all and all it sounded like a good outcome, but next time (and I hope there is no next time) try to give only about 5 or 6 degrees of negative, we usually set our Century 50s at 4 to 5 degrees negative for autos, so I'm thinking the smaller 550 blade 30 may need just a bit more pitch than the 600 blade 50s, and a little forward-stick would also help with giving some extra liftJim
