silly cgy750 trim question
hi when you have done a trim flight and flicked the switch 3 times do you then leave the trim in the radio and copy it to all flight modes or remove the trim from radio or just leave the trim on the mode you done trim flight with??

Always adjust trim mechanically, not in radio.
But, after you have done your trim, easiest is to shutdown RX and restart in AVCS mode.

Yes, I have the same question too. The manual says to do the trim flight in the normal mode and adjust the tx trims so the hover/flight is good and well, and then do the switch trick. When back in AVCS mode do you move the trims back to mid is the question.Trex 700 FBL, Synergy N5 FBL, Trex 600Pro FBL, Blade mCPx

I ask that questions few weeks ago. And the answer i got was you copy it to all flight modes. Howevery this what i did.

1) did my trim flight.
2) copied it to all flight modes.
3) removed it from Normal mode

I believe someone said that is how Dr Ben does it.

Here you will get an answer in this post:

Correct.

My models are trimmed with subtle CG shifts for the pitch axis (never touching the ele trim) and require a slight amount of right trim roll for hover and basically none for the aeros. With the electric model, I arm the ESC in normal with no trim in the model at all. I then have separate conditions for hover and the aeros in which I have the required amount of trim for the roll axis in there. You cannot mechanically trim the roll axis for hover or it will be out in the aeros and vice versa. This is an aerodynamic principle of helicopters. As long as the 750 sees neutral trim in whatever flight condition you boot it up, it'll pay attention to the trim you have in the other separated flight conditions (in my case the hover condition and then those for the aeros). This is not a common way of doing things, but it works flawlessly and avoid the need to do any trim memorization.

I hope this makes sense.
