RE:600N Head Dampers
I ordered a couple of sets of the Trueblood Head Dampeners....

http://www.readyheli.com/Trueblood-...50_p_37141.html

I was wondering what to expect as far as performance and longevity running them in a 600N FB head.....

I had been using the orange KB dampers but the last two sets didn't last long at all. The last new set made it 8 flights and were completely shot.
The reason I had gotten away from the black Align dampers is because I had a front to back nod in a hover that I couldn't seem to get rid of.

Can't comment on the Trueblood, but I had very poor results from the orange kbdd as well. The best overall I use are the one piece align w/sleeve. The nod would be from stiff head and low headspeed, bump the hs up and it will go away.RIP Roman

The Trueblood damper last for ever. I fly pretty hard and not had to replace the Truebloods, I have tried kbdd's and Align had to replace every few flights. One note you may want to glue the Truebloods in with a little CA and run the with the sleeve.
You will see a little nob in norm with Tb thay are a stiff damper.
OMG how much did i spend................

Very happy with these infinity dampers. Ive had them for several months now (Nov 1010) and still good to go. I also put the Align rubber sleeve in, and I have not seen any head bob with this setup. I have seen it before which is why I orig took out the rubber sleeve.

I was told these last a long long time.

Infinities work really well and the orings will last about 100 flights before you'll want to replace them. I just used them back in the day before one piece w/sleeve that Align came out to replace the two piece blacks, which lasted about ten flights.
These HN6061-1 have got well over 250 and still perfect...

Btw- they are stiff, and like high hs.

Tell ya what, watch the show on thursday, I'll cover the gamut of head dampers I've tried for the 6 especially, and 7 with last years attempts @ Nats.

hmm 100 flights Lets see ... maybe 2 cases by now X 11 flights a gallon = 88 approximately. Guess I should be looking to replace these soon.

Yea when I first put in the sleeve I did use the o-rings eg:kit HN 6061-1 and yes I had a nasty nod when hovering at normal rpm (might have been 1800-1900 rpm) It was annoying to the point I pulled the sleeve and the nod disappeared. Have since become more aggressive and also recently gone flybarless. Put that sleeve back in and still no nod.
