I'm trying to set up my Gp750 on a 450 pro.
I went thru all the set up process and when I try to hover the heli, after 5 or 8 seconds the tail moves just to the right.
I have the gyro gain set 45 & 35.
And I haven't even try to set the right gain because of that;I see a little bounce on the tail, but keeps moving to the right that I'm afraid to hover it if I don't fix this problem first.
Also, I left the heli on the ground and the tail servo (Align DS520) started "walking" to the right of the tail by it self, even if I try to center with the rudder stick It keeps doing the same, but not always.
Please HELP!!!
I have a futaba 7C tx

with gain set to 45-35 you are in rate mode. 50 and less is rate. over 50 is head hold. i've only used rate to help me mechanically set up a heli. i don't use rate and don't know anyone that flys in rate so i really can not comment on any advanteges to rate flying.

GP750 is pretty stable in HH at 65-70. IF in HH and the heli spins unclontrolled in the direction to move the rudder then the gyro sence direction is backward. revers that in the settings.

another way to test gyro setup is after the system initializes without touching the radio (throttole hold on) move the tail with your hand to the left or right. the trailing edge of the blades should move twards the direction you move the tail and stay there till you move the heli back to original position.

My crashes are cooler than your flying! ;^)

tail must be setup in rate mode , a good starting point is 30% rate, 60% HH. set the tail slider to 90* to the boom make sure the servo horn is centered at 90* as well (rate mode). go through the checks , i.e. high and low end points set these so the tail can achieve maximum pitch each direction without binding. check gyro correction direction as explained by funknrock, you can do this particular check in HH mode so the tail slider will not return to center, as explained simply pick up the tail and move it to the right (nose left) the tail blade's leading edge should point towards the tail boom.

i just built a heli and when i increased the gyro gain to much the tail would start to move by it self .

so i just unplugged the heli and plugged it back up.

when you plug the heli up it needs to be on a flat surface

and you cant move the heli until the gyro initialize or the tail will drift on its own .

after i unplugged the heli and plugged the power in without moving the heli problem solved.

hope this works for you.

start at 35% gyro gain first

Insha Allah made in america
