i crashed my 500 rebuild it and now i have a hard time tracking the blades. i used a pitch gauge to adjust the blades. its starts off perfect but as you start flying it changes. replaced the feather shaft main shaft and all new links. could the dampers be no good also?? right now tried 2 different set of blades and with no difference except chasing the tracking ??

+1 to dampers. crashing sucks. also check that feathering shaft on a table just to make sure its not slightly bent. I had a bent one from align before.

The blade bearings may be shot. The dampners can also be gone.

Something is still not straight, spindle or even ball link arms on the main grips.

believe me went through everything replaced every link , rods, main shaft, feather shaft. did not replace the dampers yet. Question when using the pitch gauge there some play in the flybar so its hard to get a good reading. will check the ball links arms on the blade grips.

the play could be the servos. if so you might have to change out the gears and or the servo arms. I know your prob saying this is getting expensive but thats why crashing sucks. sorry bud.

no i understand the cost involved in playing, i bought it used and replaced all the bent rods but found out that the previous owner had the wrong ones in the wrong place and cheated with the tracking rods. Ok went through the whole thing fixed it BUT now i just opened another can of worms. at mid stick i get +5 deg and at high stick i get +15 deg but through the radio brought it down to +12 deg now the problem low stick i get -9 deg. i used a digital caliper to measure everything. do i go back and redo it to get 0 deg at mid stick and hope everything else comes it to where its suppose to be +12 to -12 deg?? right now i am at what the manual says to put it at

ya might as well start from scratch. get your zero pitch at mid and change the link specs to what the manual says and you should have 12- and 12+ if thats what you want. but if you go to 10- and 10+ you will have a lil more flight time and pull less amps. hope this helps.

right now i don't want to have to use my radio to cheat. i am already at what the manual says. 10- and 10+ would work for me to. will go back and get 0 deg at mid stick and will work it from there thanks
