Sorry if it has been mentioned before but I have been flying with stock setup and 520 stock blades for a year now and never looked back. FBL btw and I love it.

I think I had read somewhere that if you change to 550 blades, then there is something else that needs to be changed on the setup, like gear ratio, motor ? I just can't remember what or if it is even true.

520 blades are almost non existent besides align and I wanted to have options.

Is there much different to fly with 550's ?
I don't fly hard and I have been happy with my 550 so far. My best heli I must say.

So what gives ? Anything to change on the setup in order to go to 550 blades ?

Thanks.

just the pinon it says in the manual. Im pretty sure you can run 17 tooth on 520s and a 16 tooth for 550s and 520s.
