Hi guys , I have a little question of this heli ,
- This heli is possible setup to 6S battery ?
Is that I doubt arises over the issue of Main gear - pinion, and the modules of the same.
It would be a proper 6 S configuration for this model? , because currently the brand can not pack as , Regards and big hug !!!

First, thanks for responding, and my next question is,
- Will the heli the same rotor torque?

This is the motor that gives me to go more or less well with 6s: Scorpion 4020 - 910KV.

Since I would not buy anything and then not work well enough, thanks and greetings

With 910 Kv you want to run 8s. With the proper setup you can get the same torque at different voltages but the efficiency is better at higher voltage. If you run 6s instead of 12s the current will be double for the same motor power.

I fly that motor on another helicopter (not Trex) with 8s and it has excellent performance. If you already have the motor get an ICE 100 (works up to 8s) and a 4000 MAH 8s battery (two 4s in series). You could go to 8s 5000 if you want lots of flight time and don’t mind a little extra weight. 6s with that motor will be a dog but good enough for sport flying and some easy 3D.

Good to hear all opinions negative/positive. I paid $1290.00 for a KASAMA Srimok 90N when it first came out. Ended up close to $2800.00 before it flew. The design looks like a ferrari but in my honest opinion, it's somthing you don't want to mess around with due to shortage in parts unless you just gotta have it. I like Align helicopters and will most likely get a 600ProFL even after hearing negative opinions. I don't do hard 3D flying just sports flying. IMHO, for an almost bind & fly heli (just add a satellite), the price is excellent.

I was originally looking at getting the 550, but now im more in favour of for the 600pro; btw i will be staying with a flybar.

regardless how i feel about the frame layout i would intend to fly it as a stock combo inc electronics, so i doubt if frame/motor/servo clewrance would ever be an issue for those who want to fly stock.

i am more than eager to hear some positive/negative feedback from users very soon, in particular the auto-hub with the added radial bearing and the new module (??) TT gears.

It should be easy to get the front battery on/off with the underslung battery. My concern for the battery is during "rough landings" it not having any carbon under it to absorb some energy. I see needless damage to the exposed battery. I've crumpled a few batteries in my Trex 600 ESP and that's with a bottom plate aiding in protecting the battery.High Voltage just works better

Tommys, have you had anymore flights on your 600? How is the hv80 working out, maybe too soon yet to see if theres going to be the scare stories as regards the 700e.

I'm looking at the flybar version, depending on how it 'crashes' - the new design head has the seesaw going through the main rotor-block. however, if/when the 550e arrives with 3gx, 2mm frames with the addition of 600 boom etc, helical main gear and new auto hub plus 12S set-up i might go the flybarless route for the first time!!

Hey Tom:

Thanks for update.

Do you have any particular tip for the 600pro so far you would like to share?

My 600pro FBL should be here by Monday. Planning to use 2 Turningy's 6S 3000 20-30C for first flights.

thats a very big thing to say about the 3GX that it is keeping up with your beastX.

in my experience the original 3G was far from the level of ability as a beastX.

as for all the bashing on the design.

i agree it may not be the best design in the world BUT why not fly it first and see if it even matters that they "Bodged" it.
Who cares... its just money...

well trev, i have said as such myself, so i totally agree to agree with you!lol

Thx Tom: so the 600pro is growing on me, putting the idea of the 550 in the shade...and looking at the difference in cost i am considering fbl especially if the 3gx proves itself worthy with rr members/users.

Is this heli going to be aligns lemon, is/was it even really needed? you see align made such an excellent job in designing their product on modular principle, as demonstrated once again with the 600e pro. I am not saying this in a negative way, it keeps down the costs and increases the flexability for the builder too.

It seems the 600e pro is a replacement for the original 600e and the later 600esp, and in doing so have addressed the original 6S power system of previous...or if you you like, align has found a new home for the 6S power system within the 550.

So the question is would anyone with a 600esp buy the new pro, why should you if you have upgraded to HV. If you was 550 owner, would you buy the new 600pro, would you not sooner stretch the 550 and go HV??

Now the dilema is it going to be 550 (maybe stretched and hv'd) or a 600pro (that maybe re-framed)??

The 600E Pro is long overdue, there are many other 600mm size electric helis designed to run 10 to 12s and this is Aligns answer to that market.

I think the 600E Pro is brilliant, its the best Align heli i have ever built, quality is excellent.

I also have the 550E and 700E and this is better than both of them, power is amazing.I also fly Mikado Logos and i like this more, probably enough to consider selling the Logos now.

Also the 3GX is incredibly good,Align have pulled a blinder with this system,I have flown most of the fbl systems out there and own Beast X and V bar V5.3GX is very good indeed in comparison and the 600E pro is amazing.

looks like a pyro 700-52 might fit as a optional motor.
Or a 45, bigger pinion gear pushes the motor further away from the main gear giving more motor to front servos clearance...
