I've just received the new 91HZ-R 3D Speed, nice engine indeed. Is there any new Hatori pipe (or other brand) especially tuned for THIS new engine?
Thank you!

IMO, any of the 91HZ-R Hatori pipes will do. The new SB-20-FH-2 will work for you just fine.

There are 2 Hatori pipes for the OS Speed 91 HZ-R 3D, but I suspect that they are actually the same pipe.

Hatori USA SB-21FH (As mentioned above)

http://helidirect.com/hatori-sb21fh...hzr-p-23493.hdx
http://www.fast-lad.co.uk/store/pro...oducts_id=14417

Hatori 968 (Japan)

I received my Hatori USA SB-21FH about a week ago, but am still waiting for the motor. The agent is a bit slack in this part of the world

I have the OS PowerBoost 90 on mine, the first day was great, tuned right up, great power, but only about 5 flights so far due to weather ... so more to come

Does the power boost pipe have a sap-rate header like hatori?

No, no header on the powerboost, which I prefer in fact!
The fitting system is very nice, the pipe itself is not threaded, instead it has 2 inserts at the back for M4 nuts so you can tighten good and won't be stripping any aluminium

Hopefully break in will be tomorrow for me if weather allows

I am personally running the SB-21 pipe as I like getting the right gear straight up. It & the engine are brilliant.

My OS Speed 91 HZ-R 3D & Hatori SB-21 has 3 tanks through it now and everything is going well. Despite the motor still being very rich it feels like there is already a LOT of power.

Look forward to leaning for more power

I actually havent bothered leaning mine out as of yet. I have gone in about 2 clicks on the main from the recommended run in needle settings & its making awesome power already so I am not sure that I will bother trying to get anymore.

Maybe I should give it a go just for experience sake.

I switched to the new Hatori SB21FH pipe, designed specifically for this engine, I like it a lot better than the powerboost, it's smoother, a lot quieter, and generates more torque and recovers faster.
