Well when I thought I have fixed the wobbles I am now getting a "new type" of wobble. Only in a hover I will get extreme wobbling side to side very very quickly. If climbing or in forward flight, no wobbles. Yes I have done the rubber grommet mod.

Another thing is that it seems like the gyro does not hold as well as it used to. I was in inverted flight and as I was flipping it back to a normal hover (like I always have done), the heli started spinning out of control as if I lost my tail rotor. Ever since this incident, the helicopter will not flip around like it used to without pirouetting.

Check your pitch at 50% throttle, mine changed on its own. It caused my heli to do exactly what you are saying. I check my pitch setting first thing before I fly it now. If you have a bad wobble. try wrapping a small rubber band around your blade grips, not too tight and then put the blades back on. See if that gets rid of your wobbles. That will prove that the play in the grip bearings is causing your problems. If not it is something else. Always test on a calm day. Some breeze causes mine to act up but I never get a wobble now after getting rid of the bearing play. I will sometimes get some shakes on a slightly windy day but it seems normal. Other people have reported that their servos were going nuts and twitching like crazy. This has happened to me in the past on several micro sized rc helis. The servos would go bad and cause the helis to act crazy. I would replace the bad servo and it would be fine. These small servos don't last like ones on larger helis. Some people are cleaning them and some are checking that brass nut on the top of the worm gear to see if it has not come loose.

Also your main motor could be getting weaK. Low HS will cause shakes and draw more current killing the power to the tail.
This whole heli really needs to be firing on all cylinders to keep up performance.
One sub system starts to fail and the performance will degrade.

Excellent statement Gardner. I can't agree more. I've never had a heli that has to be so on to fly well. When all systems are good it flies great but it doesn't last that long. If you get rid of some of the vibration and slack before hand, I noticed it acts up less and flys well a little longer.

I had a problem with the tail would kick maybe 45 degrees at a time, sometimes more. This usually happened when the mCPX also had a fairly loud vibration noise. No vibration, tail fine. The vibration would come and go and the tail problems with it.

I found my feathering shaft had a very small bend, so I replaced it. At the same time I also replaced the main shaft and main gear. After that, the vibration and tail kick have been gone.

I would look for all possible causes of vibration and see if that helps.

Well I took the head assembly apart and found that my spindle has a slight bend in it. Could this be the culprit?
