Hi all,

My name is Paul and I live in SoCal. I have many questions but not many answers. I once was a sponsored pro RC car racer (2 wheel, 4 wheel, truck and circle track) driver. In the last few years I started to get into Helis. It has been about 2 years since my last one smashed. I am here to learn how to NOT smash them anymore. I have an ARK 400 (with no electronics) and accidentally won a walkera FP of ebay that is a little to fast for my skills. I flew her last week and in the first 5 mins it cost me over $40. LOL.

"Don't fly it in doors" they said, pshh, "I can do that" ... wrong.

So much to read here, I love it!

Hoping to meet some cool people here and learn how to fly. Hope you are all well.

Just saying hi
Paul

Welcome....best way to learn how to fly is to get a simulator, and practice, practice, practice.

Welcome.....I came from a similar background Drove for JR,Nova Rossi (Italy), BMT, Eligi tires, Speedline, and BK racing fuel, LRP Competition electronics Lightspeed, and Traxxas in the 90's. Flew quite a few planks also. A sim is a great learning tool especially Phoenix for heli's. Have fun they are addictive in a year I collected 5 and I'm thinking flybarless for my next one.

Training gear, and take it slow. Unlike cars, heli's crash in 3D! Good luck.

Thank you for the welcoming all. This site looks great. I've crashed a good few choppers. This time I am going to focus and really try. I never sought out for help before.

Learning to navigate this site and having fun reading.

I do have a aerofly but am such a newb I can't configure my tx in windows or the sim. I'm trying though.

I look forward to learning from you all.

Paul

When learning to fly, do not get discouraged and give up. There IS a learning curve.
