I can't give you a good reason, but I loved spin training when I was going for my PPL. I didn't have to do it, but I had a great instructor and he highly recommended it. Loved every second of it!

3dx, was that a wing-over? I am not sure if that is the real name for it but I had a skydiving plane pilot that would do a wing-over and go into freefall with us and we can get back in the plane if we wanted to and my friend did once. It was really intense flying your body next to the plane you just jumped out of. I had the time of my life skydiving and can't wait till my next jump.

Oh ok, its kinda hard for me to tell exactly what the plane is doing through one part of it. It looks similar to a wing over though.

Whats your speed when you are at free fall??
In the spin we are falling very slow, probably 50 to 60 miles.(or less)
If your skydive fall is faster probably the plane was just nose down for a dive so your friend can jump agen to the plane( you are crazy!!!:0) the plane dive can start with a wing over as well

Yes that is how he starts the dive, then it is a full nose down dive toward the earth and we are falling at about 120. I got freaked out so I didn't stay close to the plane for long, maybe five, ten seconds tops.
Normally I freefly either head-down or in a sitting position doing 160 to 165. I have entered speed competitions and gone close to 280 several times, that is crazy fast. I also really like tracking dives where we try to cover the most horizontal distance in freefall. I have tracked over a mile many times. Not easy to do.
Freefall is fun and all but my thing was landing the parachute. I always did a high performance "swoop" landing. That is where you initiate a turn close to the ground to build up speed and finish the turn close to the ground so that after your natural recovery arc you are only inches off the ground and hauling ass. When a parachute turns the leading edge dives straight toward the ground and of course picks up speed.
Pro canopy pilots can cover well over 300 feet every time and land pretty much anywhere they want. Having the ground come up at you going that fast really gets the adrenaline going. Man its fun as hell.

It appears you failed to clear the area before that spin.

I hope you'll stay away from my airways.
