Does anyone know for certain that I can run the elevator and aileron gain at 0% and use the CGY750 on a FB heli (and use the gov and tail gyro of the CGY750) without any "weirdness" affecting the flight characteristics of the heli. Or would I be better off hooking the cyclic servos upto the receiver normally (R6108SB) but still use the CGY750 for my gov and tail gyro via the SBUS? Thanks in advance.

A RJX flybarless head is only $99 and you will have a much better flying and easier flying helicopter. You can use the same blades and everything else. I never been able to understand the logic behind a question like that.

What helicopter do you have?

If you're not ready for flybarless just get a 701, it has a governor too and is S.Bus compatible.

Thanks for trying to help folks.

I already have the CGY750, it is installed in a Rave ENV nitro. I am not comfortable with the feeling of the CGY750. I want to go back to FB to improve on my flying skills. I have realized that I need to spend time burning fuel and working on my flying skills rather than spending time trying to tune a FBL system when I am not even 100% sure what I am trying to tune. Then once I become a little more proficient at flying and helicopter setup and tuning, then I will try FBL again (I will have the CGY750 already to go), but for now I am not comfortable with my skill set or understanding of tweaking the 750. I need a gov and tail gyro (sold my other ones - now I am kicking myself LOL), hence the reason for my original question.

The ENV uses a very basic CGY750 setup, that's what I fly, no tweaking necessary. PM me if you want some help with the flybarless setup.
