hello all.
Im building A109 4 blade rotor on Trex600esp
My configuration is: 8S, tango 45-08, JIVE80HV mode 4,
I have finished the setup for my jive80hv... (thank you very much for your videos MrMel!!!!!!)But now, I have a doubt, because to get my headspeed around 1590rpm my THR curve is 23, 23, 23, 23, 23 i normal mode. Idle 1 is 1640rpm at 25, 25, 25, 25, 25.
My gear ratio is 170t main gear and 14t for motor. Should I go to a 12t gear? and then increase the thr curve to 50 or 60%?
thank you very much in advance for your help. Or can I keep this kind of curve 23, 23, 23, 23, 23?
XAvi

Its better to run around 60% or so (or 80-85% calibrated), so if applicable and you plan to run that RPM re gearing is better.

But if it does not get hot and no issues then keep flying

Thank you very much for your help.
I test this headspeed without blades, just for spoolup the main rotor.
Just for testing. According to your experience (its my first electric heli)is it better change the gear directly or test with this thr curve setup?
I don't want to fire the Jive 80hv....

I think you really need blades on otherwise the reading may not be correct when you do put the blades on, it calculates a few things during spool up

yes,yes...totally agree. I will test next monday with blades. More resistance then Im sure my thr curve will go at least at 50% to get 1500rpm aprox
