That is great!! OS was all I ever flew in nitro, so ...............

Except for one thing...........bearings????? Hope they are a lot more
reliable than their i/c bearings

But yeah, THAT is a shocker to see that, and again, glad they are taking the plunge.

Those are F3A motors right? Where are the helicopter motors?

Anyway, what a surprise! Perhaps YS will do this too?

They see where the trends are heading regarding nitro vs. electric. I wonder if they are rebrands or totally new productions? They look nice anyway.

I don't know about Cool Power but I bet we see lipos from Wildcat. Jerry seems very progressive and if they start losing fuel sales to electric I bet they jump into the Lipo world. If the OS motors are anything like the OS engine's quality has finally come to the brushless motors.

If the OS motors are anything like OS engines I'm going to buy stock in some ball bearing companies and retire.

Oooh, there is that! What is the limit on power output on an electric motor? heat? rpm? I doubt bearings will be an issue.

None of them look to be 10S motors, which are the typical pack size used in F3A/Electric pattern planes.

I think that for both OS and Futaba these are the intro motors, I am betting that more will follow. Given that Futaba is very heavy into helis with their Japanese Team I wold not be surprised to see heli motors soon.

They are not "going electric".lol...

Just putting an additional item in the catalog.
It would be irresponsible not to.

I literally never use the word literally right.

Interest and market demand, not too suprising. I suspect to see many others doing it to match where the hobby is heading.

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

Actually what caught my eye is the 100 amp HV ESC half way down the page.

Quality has finally come to ESC's at a reasonable cost 18900 yen equals $234....or a 70 amp HV for $183..nice.

Good bye Castle Creations, we are sick and tired of your flaming garbage.

Well, E=mc^2 is the absolute LIMIT of any power source regardless of fuel source. More realistic limits would include F=ma. Anything more specific I forgot since I was in college.

Yeah. I would like to see Futaba voltage regulators show up at Wave's house. Surely Futaba plans to replace all of those discontinued batteries.
