Yup, thats the shop, it won't be long before a big "going out of business sale" is posted across the front. Sad thing is, there are two guys that run the shop, and neither knows crap about helis, and very little about anything else that flies. Anyone who invests in a hobby store should realize that, especially here at Ft Hood, kids have money to burn, promote a fun hobby and provide the knowledge, it will grow. I'm waiting for some retired military troop will give it a try and sell only Helis, Planes and cars...stay away from one time use craft, they sell that junk at the mall..

It sure sounds like some of these shop owners don't deserve to be supported. That is really too bad. If they close up, looks like they deserved it.

Thanks, TheWoodCrafter

nearest hobby shop to me is one hour plus drive! Dont have the time or money to waste going there. But I would go to one half an hour away. Dave

That reminds me of one LHS where the owner is an all out idiot! He gave me me bad info once and I later called him out on it and then he lied about it. Myself like many others have shunned him and will have a beer when he goes out of business.

There are some LHS where the owners are truly an asset to the hobby we should support them or we will not have anyplace to go. The internet doesn't care about how well you succeed just how well you buy.

After hearing how bad some hobby shops are, it makes me even more bummed out that Larry is getting out. He is one of the good guys. It's a shame.
