Without getting into it too much....

I was attempting to set up my new (used but new to me) Trex 500 FBL.

Stopped thinking and shorted out the speed control. Now I need a new one.

Any suggestions on where to find either a new or used stock one, or a decent after market one? Not looking to spend a small fortune on it, just need something to make it fly for now.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I might not be able to fly well, but I can crash with the best of them.

If it was a CC esc, send it in and they will replace it for a quarter of the cost.

I have a 75 amp Align ESC.
It doesn't have a built in BEC though.

Send Mckrackin a pm.He's a awesome guy and im sure he'll hook you up.The 75A esc does not have a built in BEC but you can find a used BEC pretty cheap. It's good to have a external BEC anyway's,that way you still have control over the heli if you loose main power..

$25 shipped.

I put two new capacitors on it and used it for a dozen flights or so and put a Castle ESC on for the data logging and such.

It's been in a drawer for a year or so.
