Hi

A few pics from earlier today, sun was out, little bit windy, but the flybarless setup is progressing slowly. 14 flights in the last 4 days and each time its getting better.

Cheers

Looks outstanding. What size is that, can't tell from the pictures.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

I can hear the music from apocalypse now playing in the background... That heli looks amazing and the pic with the turbine exhaust is way too cool!! Great job!

All helis and planes have an expiration date stamped on them...you only find it after you crash!!

I love the smell of napalm in the morning.
(as was quoted by a head case in the movie)

That is awesome.

All you are missing are the lads in the office and the picture will be completely real.

What flybarless unit are you using?

Hi

The head is a mix of Vario sks flybar mated onto one of Lens original heads.

Using Helicommand rigid, and so far so good. Though its taken a bit of tuning due to the unknown nature of the head.

All going well though.

Pilots in there, just on the lookout for some crew !!

Cheers

I would get with someone that builds models and such. I knew a guy that built model cars and he built a truck like his father used to drive back in the 60's so he took an old photo and replicated it. The amount of detail he put into it was amazing. It had rust holes on the fenders, mud on the tires, dirty windshield and even scratch built a hunting dog kennel with a rusted aluminum roof in the bed.
