Hi all:

After flying a T-rex 500ESP FBL, it's very probable I'll stay with electrics. I was thinking on getting a 600 (50 size) nitro, but the 500ESP FBL has changed my mind.

I would like a bigger heli because I do aerobatic autos. So I was thinking on the 600ESP. The 700E is great but I believe it will be more expensive in all areas than the 600ESP.

Now I see there is a 600Pro coming. It should have new features and things, but is still a 600 so I don't see clearly why is its reason. I don't care much about the new 3GX because I'm planning to go FBL with the 600ESP and use other brand of stabilization gyro. There are great 600ESP deals seen in the classifieds, but I don't know if the 600ESP will be death after the new 600Pro.

I don't have much experience with electrics, and that's why I'm asking for your help.

Summing up, I need a heli that autos great, not expensive in batteries or to fix in crashes.

I have had them all 250,450,500,550,600NSP and 700N and 700E (700E now). Dollar for dollar the 700E or N would be the best fit for your needs. The bigger the heli the more float in the air and the ability to auto better its quite fun. Yes it’s more expensive and yes its worth it and yes you will never look back once you fly it! The new Trex 600E looks rather nice and with the 12S set up would cost less in terms of battery cost so it’s indeed an attractive package VS the 700 but it will never be a 700E/N.

I saw an Outrage Fusion crash this week and for the type of crash it was (minor) there was a significant amount of damage. This never would have occurred with Trex 700 E/N and even the 600N is stronger.

Depends on the crash, I crashed a friends Fusion (oops!), servo wire unplugged from Ely-Q regulator so it went in fast and hard with no time to hit throttle hold, the crash cost £40 GBP not including canopy and blades.

Can I interest you in a Compass 6Hv----AUTO MACHINE!! The Trex 500ESP drops like a brick and has very little float or forgiveness if you screw the glide path.

If not, then the Trex 700E would be your best friend with autos or wait to check out the new 600 V2 or 650--still not sure which Align class it will be named.

My vote also goes for the Compass 6HV, it autos forever almost as much as a 90 size heli.

Team Synergy, Rail blades, Team Scorpion, V-Team

The 700E is great, but I see the duration of the flight is about 4:30 minutes doing 3D. Quite low to have some fun. A 600 last a little longer indeed.

I'm curious why the Compass 6HV, belt driven tail, do autos so good than the rest of the 600 size kits.

You wont find auto's to be the fun of choice if you fly the 700e or n align ! If you only enjoy auto's you should look at all the 700's or 90's !! The blades are the trick !! Wide cord .50's auto better than a standard 700 blade ! If someone said to me ! Do the best auto in any condition i would fly my 600 with a wide cord 700 blade, Same tube !!
