For those that have already done it, where is the best place in the Rave ENV airframe to mount a CC ICE120HV esc ??
I've seen some people mount it on top of the battery tray (Upper position) but is there sufficient airflow in this position to keep it cool ??

Any chance that some of you can post some pictures of how you've run the esc and battery wiring.

Thanks in advance

Garry

On top of the battery tray is the best location for me. The CC120HV works great there and there has not been any heat up issues.

Put it on the boom block, that way when it catches fire it won't damage anything else.

I mounted my 160 above the battery tray and have not had any issues with heat.

Yeah, I'm down on them right now, nearly lost my Furion 6 last week when the Castle Cremations went up.

+1 for the tail block mount. I have my Jive mounted there and it's excellent. I chose that over the battery tray because of the great cooling. It's directly under the blades during flight, which keeps it very cool and efficient.

This is a nice idea! I'll mount it on top of the boom block too. I had some problems with the CC and sometimes burned my main frame.
