Marcus,

You're pushing it with that Futura Nova and Futura Cuatro NONSENSE!
I'll let it go cause you're voting for the right machine.

But, like some of the other KNUCKLEHEADS here, you didn't update the count!

I can't believe I didn't make it either!!! I have a ton of excuses, some of them really good! In the end I had too much going on here with family in town, family leaving, etc. It just couldn't be forced to happen.

I did save a baby turtle today though. Does that count for something?

I have never flown a Milli so I'll have to vote Futura as well :-)

making it;
Futura 9
Milli 2

Hey Ben1101, have you had a look at the Blitz Avro? The drivetrain was
obviously heavily influenced by the Futura (and / or arguably the Kyosho Caliber). One piece sideframes and no stacked bits, etc. And really nice workmanship and design on all the parts, super sturdy rotorhead and absolutely no slop in any of the linkage.

But right now my Avro flies so differently compared to the Futura because the Futura is setup so much more mild. I will be tweaking the Futura a bit to get it a bit snappier. Anyway the point being the Avro is worth a look :-)

I have both machine, Futura SE and Millenium II SE .
I hand up to Mill II SE rather than Futura SE.
Because of its agility of flying, Futura SE is too mild.
And Futura SE is too nose light basically.

Hi Kadet,

I don't know why there would be much difference in agility if they both had similar head setups, dampers, servos etc. because they both use
the system 88.

When I first got my Futura it had been setup for 3D with very
hard dampers and aggressive paddles etc. and it was extremely
nimble.

I may be getting a Dyna X so that should give me a better
perspective.

I've got 1 Futura, and 1 Nova.....Belts all the way!

I sold 2 other Futura's in the past, should I have added them to the count, or leave as is since I don't have those other 2 anymore?

Since I first posted in this thread back over the summer, I got
a Dyna-X and have flown it quite a bit.

So I really like both.

Right now the Dyna-X flies more like I want, very precise
and stable but nimble for FAI type aero stuff. But that's
due to two things; 1. most importantly the head setup is different, different dampers, weights and paddles etc. 2. The Dyna has a .91
engine and can easily get headspeeds over 1900 vs the Futura only
having a .70 engine with a max headspeed around 1700. But I know the
Futura can be made nearly as punchy.

The Futura does have the smoothness factor and a unique
sound to it and a great presence in the air.

I think my fleet stands at about 8 Futuras (all SE's except for one
SS, only three fully assembled and ready to fly) and 3 Millies
including the Dyna-X which is basically a Milli with a re-worked
frame. Only the Dyna-X and one Futura SE are currently being flown but I might convert a standard Milli 2 to electric and I have
a 4 stroke Futura with a Laser 150 engine as a 'winter project'.
