Align has new FB head.
Align just released a new FB head and it looks awesome. Fully adjustable, from mild to wild. I like FB and can't wait to upgrade mine.

Check it out!

very nice redesign, Now will the do the same for FBL Heads. The ball links have a tendency to strip out the grips. Now if the make them removable like in these new ones. I only strip out one so far on my 700N, but on my 450pro 5 grips.

@Heliosprime, I think he's referring to how the arms on the metal grips would swing up and break off after hitting the head button in a crash.

@helidevil, There's almost no doubt that this setup provides a greater range of movement without binding. If you notice this is the head style that almost every other single heli manufacturer uses.

Aha, it makes sense now, thank you for clarifying. That is the reason that I never install a head button on my Helis. . It's a bit harder to stop the blades on the 700, but it saves the grip arms during a crash .

I didn't run a head button for a long time, just put a Trex-500 head button on my 700. Grips clear the headbutton with room to spare. Took a bit of drilling to make that headbutton fit.

Looks like that head is "F3C" designation.

Not really, read the description, you can set it up F3C with the red dampeners and a milder link setup, or you can go full 3D with the black dampeners and more aggressive link setup .

I think it will be an awesome and flexible 700N upgrade.

Your wish has been granted by Align. They announced a similar head for their new 600E. I'm sure it will work with the N too.

Hope the link works. If it doesn't here is a picture:

The link ball wich screws into the grips, can be ripped out in a crash. This strips out the tread.
