Mystery v bar issue
Hi all
Cant work out why this is happening
I run the following set up,AR7100,v bar, life batt 3000mah.When you swich the system on all works perfectly but when you switch it off just the sat goes off with the orange light on the rx,the blue light still glows and the cyclics buzz like mad but no control over the servos. If you disconect the v bar and switch yhe rx off it all goes off. This has had me chasing around all day Can any body tell me what the hell is going on please
Regards
Rob

AR7100, Have you made the special harness for the tail?

You get this issue if you do not make it, and then you virtually put 8V -> 5v port..

Not crazy, it's known if you feed wrong voltage back into the Reg on tail channel that the softswitch stops working, somehow this must happen internally then when there is load on it, I vote for something broken inside the RX/reg.Gone fishing..or hunting..or something

Hi
Ive triple double checked my tail hook up system its absolutly right.Ive just tried a brand new AR7110 same issue, defo right voltage going in,gutted cant maiden the vision 90 tommorow but ill send off the rx to horizon and check,if the soft switch had gone.Question, why would it switch off when cyclics taken out and tail servo left in?
Im so tired now ive been at this a bout 7hrs!!!

Post a picture of the hookup and your special cable.

If you tested it with another RX and it's same thing, then it has to be the vbar or the hookup, must be a first for anything I guess.

Now try the last servo (which is with it) and put that into the Aileron port (wrong port)

Does the problem occur again?

Yip
Tried both back to front same issue induvidualy, plus my elevator, aileron imput now has started not to work properly as if its confused as wich one to work, spin the blades and it seems to correct itself until they stop,so between a faulty battery and maybe faulty v bar im just so frustrated never, ever have i had a issue with v bar before they are normaly so reliable
