Trex 550-600-700 ball link and linkage rod sizes
Can someone help me out? Trying to figure out how many different size balls and ball links there are for the 550, 600, and 700 Align helicopters. I have a linkage set (H55047) that has 2.3mm pushrods. The ball links are bigger and don't fit on the metal 600 blade grip balls. I assumed 550 and 600 balls and links would be the same but apparently they are not. Any help with educating me on what's out there would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Scot

I found the 600 flybarless 3G manual online and see that there are two pushrod sizes. 2.0mm from the servos to bellcranks and 2.5mm on the rotorhead. Anyone know if the balls on the rotorhead are the same diameter as the ones that go on the servo wheels?

Thanks!

I know so many years passed since this question been asked but I had the same issue recently while working on a used Trex 600 heli that has a 3G FBL head. There are 2 different linkage ball sizes. The standard one is 4.70-4.75mm in diameter. These are everywhere on the frame. And there is slightly larger linkage balls (about 5mm in diameter). There are 2 on the upper(rotating) part of the swash plate (The ones that go to blade grips) and also blade grip linkage balls are the larger kind. Seems this got done so the blade grip pushrods could be larger in diameter but it is so confusing(Align style!..). Also there is very little info on the net about the different size linkage balls used on Trex helis.
I checked and can't seem to find ball links that are made for larger linkage balls. Standard Trex 600 ball links fit too tight. I will try and see how a standard Trex 700 ball links work.
I will update this post...
