Help: Changing bike pedals
I want to change the bike pedals but I am not able to unmount them with my little 6 inches wrench. The thread is never loosened up. Is it because my wrench is too small or am I missing something?

You mean I should rotate the wrench clockwise to loosen it?

Yes, the right side pedal will have left hand threads. A quality bike will also use thread lock. Try heating the crank with a small torch and see if it loosens up.

Just think about the pedals as "tightening while i pedal." (rotation wise. Turn backwards to loosen) One will be marked with an L on the stem. Check for a set screw to, i have one set of cranks that are drilled for one.

The pedals are threaded to always try to be tightening while riding so you can't unscrew one while riding. If they are through threaded, spray a little PB Blaster on both side of the pedal and then make sure you are trying to unscrew in the correct direction.

Yep...as everyone says...all the bikes I've ever worked on....the pedals are threaded backwards to normal threads....that's so when you pedal...the pedals don't unscrew.
