I hate to when bad things happen. It heard about something like this a couple weeks ago, and moved all my old lipo's out of my house. Even put two puffed lipo's in salt water.

Take care of yourself and heal up Curtis.

The latest AMA magazine has a pretty gruesome picture of a guy that got an infection on his hand after slicing it with a hobby knife. Don't want to have any of that.

Shortcuts lead to accidents. It's just that we all know what we are supposed to do and once in a while we take a shortcut. These batteries are dangerous and we need to take them seriously. There is a lot of energy in that little fragile package.

I watched two guys at our local field the other night refueling their airplanes with lit cigarettes hanging from their mouths. One of these days, that's not going to work out for them either. There's a lot of energy in a gallon of glowfuel too.

I hope Curtis is not badly injured. Everything I have ever seen of him suggests he's a great guy.

"Opening like a fan" sounds like the whole pack might have gone into overcharge. That does call into question the charger/balancer or their settings.

Get well soon Curtis - I'm sure the whole community is rooting for you.
