Need help on a vib.
Ok... So i have a V50 and I have a latteral vibration at low head speeds 1850-1950, as soon as i go above 2000 it is not noticable. I am at a loss. Things i have done: in this order
1) balanced the head with blades on it (FBL)
2) balanced the blades by them selves, CG of blades are damn close and
weights or off by .14 of a gram (used calibrated scale from work)
3) changed main shaft and feather shaft
4) I am useing Curtis 600mm blades I put on my buddies align 600mm blades and the vib. was gone, he flew my blades and had no vib. So the vid is only there on my heli with my blades.
the only thing I can come up with is main shaft bearings. So the question is if it is bearings why is there a vib. only when I fly my blades and not there with his? Anyone have any better ideas then bearings before i buy them, or any ideas of what it could be.
pick it up and shake it off...she'll fly again

Sounds like blades.
Blades gone = vibe gone
New blades = no vibe

Sounds like you have the answer to your question. I would be scratching my head too, but I would end up replacing the blades and move on.

Possibly the blade profile that is bringing something to the surface here??

I say blades.

It's common for blades to work on one heli and not another.
They all have their own frequency they vibrate to and when too many things get together,it just won't work.

I absolutely agree about the blades the only thing holdding me back besides the price is the fact that they show no signs on another heli so why does it on mine. Flight characteristics are the same of the blades. I don't know, it just bothers me because I don't understand I guess. It is killing me!!!pick it up and shake it off...she'll fly again

Have you balanced them?

Find the center of gravity on each blade and mark it.
You know, balance one blade on a knife edge and mark where it's touching the knife edge.

Now balance the blades by putting tape on the light blade.
Put the tape on the center of gravity of the light blade.

A friend balanced a set for me after he painted them.
He balanced them by wet sanding the heavy blade until they balanced and then buffed it back to a shine.
