So the field in the video is Evansville RC Club. It is located in Evansville Indiana. And yes, we have an amazing facility. One of the best I have ever seen. If you saw what was behind me, it is even better. We are having and event in 2 weeks. It is called the Heli Invasion. There is a ton of hype about the event. Infact, if you are AMA member, the issue you just got has an article about it and also Mason in it.

So I have attached another video of Mason flying. He is 5 years old, he will be 6 in August. I do not push him to do anything (except to be good). He loves to fly on the simulator, he is constantly on it it at his own choice. My olnly rule is that there is no screwing around on the simulator. It is a tool to learn on. I know some kids just like crashing, but I dont want him doing that. He flys 2-3 times a day for maybe 15 minutes. i am at work so it is hard to tell. His favorite thing to do is Autos. It is also mine so he might get that from me. Recently I took him to his first big fun fly. It was in Huntsville and there was 102 pilots. He flew an electric 600, nitro 600 and a FBL nitro 700. The 700 is his favorite (cause it is big and flybarless). He did some flips, rolls and inverted hover as wells as forward flight and demonstrated his ability to maintain control. He is shy and a little nervous until he hits his comfort level around people. Then he opens up. This happened towards the end of the day on Saturday. He began flying better and talking to people as he flew. People constantly came up to talk with him while he flew. I have expressed to him to concentrate always on the helicopter while flying, no scratching a bug on your face. In fact, he had to test this as a car drove down the runway while he and others flew. He raised the elevation and maintained a hover and asked me "Daddy, what is going on" I told him to hold it in place and that he was doing good. I could have took control by letting go of the button, but he did great. He is still a crazy kid so don't worry about that. If there are other kids at a fun fly, he is running around playing when he is not flying. Most likely, out trying to get into trouble( unfortunately he gets that from me too). He is a video of him in Huntsville.

I got to watch him fly In AL funfly. He was doing great. Im trying to teach my 6 year old to fly but I only let him have his hands on the mcx for now.I have learned if you move the sticks the right way you wont crash.
