New DJI Ace One Firmware now available.
New firmware, software and user manual are released. You can download online now. http://www.dji-innovations.com/en/download.php

Download the new manual and please read thru the changes before flying.
Please check all parameters and go thru the wizard again verifying everything is working on the bench correctly before flying.

Below is the release notes.

Maybe a new thread is better or not.

oooh! exciting. My new Logo will be here Friday

Good work on everything youve done to make the A1 more user friendly Robert!

Edit: in the suggested settings for flybar and AUTO, I see you have one heli labeled Logo 700. Is it safe to say it means a logo 600 stretched? Or are they referring to the new Logo XXTREME 700 that's not out yet?

Here is brief explanation (I'll try not to be to confusing) on how I have been setting up my remote gains for Autopilot gains. Same can be done with X1 and X2 in FBL mode first but this screen shot is of the Autopilot Gain window.

On my Tx (JR 11X) I have X1 and X2 on sliders. My sliders with travel adj. set to max (150%) would not give me full range. Plus I didn't like the fact that if my sliders were moved or I flew different models the settings could and would change.

So if you center your slider, INH the channels in the software and manually set the % to the center of the range then designate X1 or X2 your center point of your slider will be the center of the range (or whatever % you set when INH).

I like to set my Vertical first followed by Left/Right and finally Front/Back.

Now obviously we have three gain settings and only two channels. So after I found my optimum Vertical setting I INH the channel X2. I then found the optimum gains for Left/Right and Front Back.

After that, I INH all gains, set my left slider to center then designate Left/Right AND Front/Back to X1. Now I can adjust my Left/Right and Front/Back on one slider and I have the center slider travel to be very close to optimum.

X2 I set for Vertical and its center at optimum %.

Now in flight in Auto mode we can fine tune our Auto gains for certain weather conditions etc. Plus we always know, no matter what model etc. that center travel of my sliders is always my starting point.

Hope that makes sense because I might have confused myself.

Hi Robert,

I think you make a great point here. As I continue to work on my settings, in your experience, what adjustments do you find you need to make specifically to your gain settings in windier conditions? Also, do you make any adjustments to your tail gyro settings? I only ask because yesterday, I was out flying in windier conditions (25-30km winds) and found that I was getting vibrations from the heli (visibly seen on the skids) and tail wag (which I had eliminated in calmer conditions) that came back. Any feedback from your experiences would be awesome.

Thx again for your commitment to the improvement of this product!

I fine tune the gains in Auto mode a little depending on the wind conditions.

You can adjust the Gyro gain on your TX travel adjustment just like any other gyro.
