Futaba CGY 750 Gain
Hy guys,

i have two Futaba CGY-750 and by both units the same reaction.

When i set the gain on AIL and ELE to 100% (Work Mode AVCS),
so i have more response on Aileron by the direction test!

I don't see that by other FBLS. There was the same response auf AIL and ELE.

I am flying with one unit and i have a infrequent drift to the left side (Aileron). Maybe it's the reason of the poor reaction on Aileron?

Regards,
Gottfried

Hi,

i had no trimmflight.
Because i fly with AVCS mode and i have read in the manual, in this mode it is not necesarry to make a trimmflight.

Sorry, mean i have more response on ELE by the direction test.
And that by both units.

Regards,
Gottfried

do a trim flight, it makes it work much better.
My 2 helis only drift with the wind, no tilting off axis at all.

Thats one 500 size electric at 3000rpm, and 1x 90 nitro turning 2030rpm HS.

Hi sky, even with the trimming flight mine hovered dead striaght.

The manual says you are supposed to do a trimming flight for best results.

I assume you balance is perfect ?

Here is a link to my maiden flight....

With the direction test, mine also has more ELE than Ail, and i agree this is not the norm for FBL units.

I run my gains in the high 60s for ele and Ail.

cheers mate, hope ya get it sorted.

actually i let a buddy fly my CGY750 X5 the other day and he pointed out that either one of my blade grip linkages was off or my swash was slightly causing it to not be perfectly flat while to doing tic tocks. I am now noticing that even when i flying and bring donwn the pitch to land the heli i can see it dipping slightly right then correcting if i slow it down. I did a trim flight prior during setup and all seemed fine except i did mine a little differently. Instead of trimming it on the TX using the trim i used the swash menu to level the heli then flew it and switched to norm and corrected accordingly. I actually had it almost perfect from the get go as i used a swash leveler during setup. Anyhow the problem is i recently had to redo my stick calibration in my 8FG and am now wondering if it is affecting my trim. Is there a way to reset the center to default so that i can re-do my trim flight or should i just try re-doing my trimflight?

One thing I am going to do which i didnt really do on my 750 builds was check each blade grips pitch throughout the rotation. I checked it at certain spots and i made sure to measure out my links to be exact etc but didnt do as thorough a check considering how well it flew day 1. I think the issue I am having and maybe others is that it might be spot on at a certain stick position but not at others.
