Im hoping someone can help me out on this one. its the piston gap location. ok on the YS piston it has a tiny tiny pin to secure the ring. does the ring gap go towards the front of the motor or the rear of the motor?????? Any help Id greatly appreciate.

On the OS motors the pistons have a cut out for the crank shaft, if its backwards its pretty obvious.

But you're correct that the gap goes over the index pin.
