I bought a used 750. It was used in a 700E. I'm planning to use it in a 450Pro. Do I need to re-set the unit to factory default settings first before programming it? Thanks.

Not mandatory, but I would anyway. It would be a safer route than risking not catching something wrong hiding in one of the menus, be it accidental or intentional. It doesn't take long to set one up from scratch anyway.

Let me know if you need help.

I would say that resetting it to factory defaults would be a best practice. Based on my understanding you will need to go into each of the functions and reset them. Note that SBus reset is in the normal menu while the others are in the expert menus (if memory serves me).

It appears that there is not a universal, or single, button to press to reset all functions to default.

No, that is correct. I personally wouldn't want such a feature without at least two layers of confirmation to execute. I wasn't paying attention one night and reset all my linkage compensation by accident. It would have really sucked if that error had reset everything.

Is there a utility to download the settings to a file? The way it is now when I swap helicopters it’s a real pain to write down all the settings and program the new ones.

If not maybe they should have several model memory like transmitters?

Maybe a future firmware upgrade to make one of those two work.
