I was checking over the heli today, and I noticed I have a lot of play in the tail blade grips. I want to change the bearings, but I don't think they are available seperately. Now, I have a metal tail blade holder. I am not going to buy another one because of worn out bearings. Ball and thrust bearings from Rc-bearings are over $12. I think my best bet is buying a plastic tail blade holder ($13 from Ron's) and stripping the parts from that one. You also get a new hub with the bearings. Is this what you guys do?

Regarding the bearings, yeah probably thats what I would do. Are you sure that the bearings haven't worn out the inside of your grips, causing your play?

I'm pretty sure. I had to knock them out of the grips with a hammer and a punch.
