Hi Guys,

Need help again. When flying my Trex 600 using a Futaba 10CAG , she does not pick up speed when I lower the throttle to minimum and then up again, takes a few secs to pick up. When I land her and immediately try to take off it takes a sec or two for her to engage.
What settings have I not got correct.

Thanks

Is your 600 Electric or Nitro? If electric, it could be your throttle response speed may be set to standard or medium speed. It should be quick speed.

If it electric this is normal, because of the slow start usually programmed in the ESC. CC has a option on their ICE ESC where you can program a slow start from start but then a auto bail out which will respool faster in stunt 1 or 2.

Thanks Guys,

The heli is a 600 esp. I did consult with someone today, due to my poor knowledge of electric helis I found out that the spool issue is normal.

Any suggestions on a throttle curve setting for normal, for idel 1 i have 70% all the way and idle 2 , 85%. For normal mode I have a linear curve from 0 to 100%

Normal mode 0-inh-80-inh-100

ST1 mode 90-inh-80-inh-90

ST2 mode 100-100-100-100-100

Why are your idle up curves so low?
What ESC is it?
Do you use a governor?

I literally never use the word literally right.

Hi,

I'm currently not using the govenor mode on the heli. The ESC is the standard one that comes with the kit.
Today I changed the normal mode throt curve to 0,40,inib,65,inib,inib,100. Using 65% at midstick with 5.5 pitch she hovers well at this setting as per the manual.
