So this is my 4th battery pak on my new 450 clone. I'm just really learning to fly, so its kinda all over the place. But in my defense , it was a little windy. I did discover that my blades weren't tracking true, so I need to readjust them. I was just wondering if it sounds a little more "whiny" than yours?

Great job...if your landing was better I would say take the gear off...but I think it saved you from tipping over....great to see ya getting off the ground and not scarred to fly it.

Btw what Heli is that?

Its an ebay clone, but some of the parts say tarot on it. The seller did the best they could at stripping the package of any identifying marks. I'm pretty happy with the quality thus far. Ya, I figured I'd leave my homemade training gear on for a bit since I'm flying higher than with my previous heli. I had a falcon 3D that was kinda hard to fly. It wouldn't allow the fine tuning I needed. That and it acted erratically at times. Thanks

Great Hovering. One thing, flying High is good, but as a new person to flying sorta, don't let it get to high, if it starts backing up to straight above your head, and it's gets behind you for some reason, and you cant turn around to see it tail in quick enough then it might get away with you. Always make sure to never let it get straight above you. If it does and the sun gets in your eyse, and blocks the heli out of view, you'll loose control of it. Be safe and have fun.

Landing gear saved the day, ... so you can fly another day! Keep them on as long as you need them. Flying is a lot better than repairing!

Congrats man, I can't wait to get one. Nice area to fly in there.

I think the easiest way to lose the landing gear when you get ready is to just go ahead and take off, get into the air a couple of feet. Landing I bring my Blade SR in about an inch off my 3'x 3' plywood. I wait until I get good and level and kill the throttle quickly. In wind some times that takes a little longer.

If its fixed don't break it.

I went flying today. Had some pretty good wind. I think I'm about ready to take off the gear. I have just such a great fear of crashing, especially since I'm getting a little more crazy and trying new stuff. Really love this thing though.

I don't sim too much. The TX I have for that seems to have a dead spot in the throttle even though the program says there isn't one. I've been playing around with my heli for about 4 or 5 years, but only recently got serious. The first heli was a piece of @$#%! It made it very hard to learn on. Couldn't set it up right. But when I did get my sim it helped a lot. I love my clone pro. Its been awesome to fly.

Bladecpnitro,

Not too sure. When I bought it, they stripped it of all packaging. I know the belt say tarot, but there are no other identifying marks. But I'm very happy with the quality.

No flips or anything. As I said, I only recently got serious about it. So that means I went extremely long periods without flying my old heli. I had lots of crashes with that one. It wouldn't set up right.
