how exactly did heli proz make this error? This is an Align Error, not Heli Proz, Heli Proz has nothing what so ever to do with it. They retailed a nip product to you. Now Heli Proz will take care of it for you since they are an outstanding company. They will assume responsibility for align's screw up. They could be like a lot of other retailers, tell you to contact Align since its not their problem (it really isn't their problem) Align fkd this up for you, not heli proz. This is a classic case of shooting the messenger and not the sender. Grow up and use your head a little (its there for more than a hat rack).

This thread would make a whole lot more sense if you had received a bad servo, called Heliproz and not received a good solution. As you are finding out, there are a whole lot of people who will come to Helirpoz's support. You have even stated yourself that you have dealt with them before and it was a good experience. So why start such a thread prematurely?

....and on the bright side of things, atleast the servo was labeled to be sent back to Align for a warranty replacement/credit from the distributor.

It could have said nothing on it, you installed it in your new heli, and then crashed with no one to blame. Be happy and have a good Easter Sunday.

Can you close your thread so that it falls into the abyss?

Yes, Heliproz is an awesome company. This poor guy is venting becaue his plans have been foiled. I'm sure given the chance he would re-think the thread title and maybe leave out the vendor's name. It could have happened using any one of them.

This does, however, explain why all my Align stuff actually did fail in flight. They were missing the labels!

Sorry for whoever got the bad servo, I am on Heliproz side. You have not even given them a chance to fix the problem and started bashing here. If I were you, I would have edited the original thread, cleared the topic and closed it.

Ben don't have Mark close this thread it evidences two valuable points.

1. We have become an intolerant society full of self importance.

2. Heliproz is a quality company as evidenced by those who have come to its support in this thread.

Happy Easter everyone.

Ruined my whole weekend and my maiden of my heli.
It's a throttle servo
You can't find a hobby shop that sells $15 servos?
You don't have a drawer full of old servos, or another helicopter you can cannab a servo from?

Does Heliproz stock anything other than Mavrikk blades ?

( before you flame me, understand that I have spent a couple of grand at Heliproz ).

edit: I was looking for some MA Razor parts and the implied message I get from the Heliproz website is "sorry son your SOL". Don't they make the MA brand of heli's ?

A lot of huffing and puffing in here over this
Heli Proz doesn't need any back-up here, their record speaks for itself, I have never had an issue with them so far.
I see this as a PSA, just a reminder to check over your orders,$hit happens sometimes.....to any retailer.

Im not blaming anyone for nothing but Ive dealt with Heliproz from the first day I started hobby and never got a messed up order or miss labled package so I have to back Heliproz. Let them make it rite before you post anywhere . If you talked to them and they treat you wrong then post about costomer service .If it was any other product than Align it would have more merit to me . I just built a trex 550 did one flight ,went to power up and smoked on second .Servos suck and this is not the first time and you have no one to get repaired or replaced .

I stole it ,flew it and gave it back ;)

How did they know it failed in flight if the heli and servo is both new? And if it failed in flight, would not the heli and servo came as a crashed heli in need of repair? Are they test flown before shipping?

Damn.........

So they beat the **** out of it, clean it up, then mail to you as new.

Just mo on this
I'm just getting back into the hobby and I've had only one experiance with HP so far. An honest mistake or result of shipper slightly damaging the box (ripped corner with hole) and the glow plugs in the order were missing. One call to HP and new ones were Priority mailed to me.

I must say Helipros are top notch in my book. I'm sure they will resolve this for you. Too bad you vented prematurly.

Also I see alot of people bashing Align servo's here. I just bought some. What's wrong with them? I'm new please tell me.

KingCobra, there is nothing wrong with Align servos. They are good reliable servos that offer great performance on 6-8v.

I've had thousands of flights on Align DS610's and have never had or seen one fail.

However, there are 10's of thousands of Align servos on the market and in helis around the globe. I'd be willing to bet the failure rate is less than 1%.

Unfourtunatly this customer got a bad servo that was mixed in with the bunch, nothing more.

In 24 hours from now he can call HP to have this minor issue resolved.
